Emma and Bronwyn

Weddings!!!  So much fun.  The ceremony, the vows, the party... the pictures!!!  That's where I come in.  I love doing weddings!  Capturing that first kiss, that moment they first see their new bride or groom walking down that isle, that sparkling look in the flower girl's eyes as she tosses the rose petals...  so much fun!

Even if it's all fake!  These shots were taken at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington.  Emma and Bronwyn were our fabulous couple here to help everyone with our photography skills for our Intro to Wedding Photography class.  And, when I say fabulous, I mean beautiful, kind, but most of all patient!!  Did I mention there were 6 photography students all vying for their attention!  It must have felt like the paparazzi was taking over the gardens.

They truly had the patience of saints!  We were there for over 3 hours trying to get the perfect shots... and they did not disappoint!  They were able to pull off elegant, class, cute, funny... you name it and they did it!  A great time was had by all and we owe these two young ladies a great deal of thanks for putting up with all of our photographic demands for the day.

So, a big thanks to them and I hope if anything that this little window into wedding photography helps prepare them for the real deal if/when they choose to be married one day!

Deanna and Gaston

Last month, I had the opportunity to photograph some good friends of mine.  I know, it looks like an engagement shoot... but they are already happily married!  They just helped me out with my photography course so I could get some more practice!  :)  We spent the afternoon down at Sheridan College, touring the campus, taking lots of pics, and having a great time!

Thanks for your help guys!  You two look stunning!

My Girls!!!!

What is one of the best things you can do to improve your photography?  Well, for me, it was having kids!!!  :)  My own girls and nieces have given me lots to photograph these past 5 and a half years.

They are my my reason for living... but more importantly, they are the reason my wife allowed me to get all the fancy camera gear!!!  ;)

It doesn't matter if they're acting like little princesses or runway models, they sure do keep me and my camera on my toes!
